Flame Spray Coating
Flame spray coating is a technology used to increase component life and in turn reduce maintenance costs by extending the life cycle of equipment. Essential for efficient running of your gas turbines, CTS can offer coatings that considerably enhance oxidation and / or hot corrosion resistance of components.
A melted material is projected onto the substrate of the components. This process does not distort the part and the application time is fast for reduced downtimes.
Heat Treatment
Heat Treatment of your Gas Turbine components is an essential step to ensuring their strength, hardness, corrosion resistance and ductility. What kind of heat treatment is required will vary greatly depending on the group of materials and the application. When manufacturing or repairing components, care must be taken to take into account material type and application: alloyed steels, forged superalloys, cast superalloys, necessity and effect of welding and desire for restorative treatments.
